Southern Alberta Art Gallery, Lethbridge, Canada

A mulit-sited public art exhibition that explores the invention of the telephone as a technical object that organises labour, social relations and desire. Accompanied by an interactive CD-ROM. Using a familiar, but now old technology —the rotary dial telephone—I tried to ask questions about what is new and different about emergent technologies and what the value of that difference might be.
