HEAR FEAR EAR

RESEARCH    WORKS    WRITING    ABOUT
Is a lecture performance exploring the sonic histories and affective registers of aerial warefare and surveillance upon civilian populations on the ground. The lived experiences and impacts of exposure to the frequencies of airborne munitions and technolgies are complex, and with the case of the drone wars, could even signal one’s imminent death. Other examples, such as a the use of sonic booms over Gaza have been used to terrorise populations and amplify collective anxiety and fear.
